Why This… and Why It Stuck
I get this question a lot — sometimes out loud, sometimes just in the way people hesitate before they ask, “Why Young Living?”

And honestly… it’s a fair question.

Because if you’ve ever walked into a store or searched online, you already know — there are a lot of options out there. Oils everywhere. Different brands, different prices, different promises. And from the outside, they can all start to look the same.  That’s exactly where I was in the beginning.  Curious, but skeptical.  Interested, but questioning everything. Wondering if this was just another trend, another thing people get excited about for a while and then quietly move on from.  But something kept pulling me back — not in a flashy, over-the-top way… just a quiet curiosity that said, “There might be more to this.”

So, I started digging.

Not just surface-level scrolling, but actually learning — how oils are made, where they come from, what quality really means.  And that’s where things started to shift for me.  Because what I realized pretty quickly is that not all oils are created equal.  You can have two bottles that look similar…but what’s inside them can be completely different.

Things like:

How the plants are grown
How they’re harvested
How they’re distilled
What’s added (or not added)
ALL of that matters.

And for me, what stood out was the level of intention behind it all. The consistency. The care. The fact that it wasn’t just about selling a product — it was about how that product was created from the very beginning.  There’s a video I came across early on (which you can find below) and it really helped connect the dots for me in a way that just made sense. Not overwhelming, not pushy — just informative enough to understand why quality actually matters.

Because once you see it, you can’t really unsee it.  And that’s what built my trust.

Not hype.
Not pressure.
Just understanding.

But here’s the part I didn’t expect…it wasn’t just the products that kept me here.  It was the people.  Somewhere along the way, this stopped being just about oils and routines and “trying something new” … and started becoming something much bigger.

Connection.
Support.
Real friendships.

The kind where you can show up exactly as you are — good day, bad day, hot mess express day — and still feel encouraged, not judged. The kind where people celebrate your wins like they’re their own and remind you who you are when you start to forget.

I’ve met some of my best friends through this journey.
People I talk to daily.
People who have shown up for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

And that’s not something you can bottle.

That’s something you feel.

Because at the end of the day, this was never just about essential oils.  It was about finding something I could trust…and finding people who made the journey better.

That combination?
That’s what made it stick.

So when people ask me why I chose this — why I stayed — it’s not just one answer.

It’s trust in what I’m using.
It’s confidence in what I’m sharing.
And it’s gratitude for the community that came with it.

Because when you find something that supports your body and surrounds you with people who support you…

That’s not just a product.

That’s a lifestyle.

And maybe that’s really what this whole journey has been about all along — not just feeling better physically, but finding alignment in what you use, who you trust, and who you walk alongside.

So if you’ve been curious… if you’ve been watching from the sidelines… if you’ve been wondering if there’s something more here…

You’re not wrong because there is.

And if you ever want to talk about it — no pressure, no expectations — just a real conversation, you know where to find me.

Because the best part of this journey?  You don’t have to do it alone. 💛
